Staci-Sorry!
I know I haven't kept up blogging but I've been doing pretty well! I'm trying! Yesterday wasn't a perfect paleo day for sure, but I wouldn't say it was a "bad" eating day. Also, yesterday I walked around the zoo with a friend from work who had the day off and I just got back from walking a mile to and from the park. So, I'm getting a little exercise in too. It's no crossfit, but it's exercise! This morning I made 2 scrambled eggs mixed with mushrooms and broccoli and a few bacon strips. I'm drinking all water too, unless I go out to eat. I make it a treat to have a Diet Coke!

You're going to hate me....
ReplyDeleteIn order for Paleo to work and for you to get to the point of being able to treat yourself, you have to be perfect for at least 30 days. Like...no cheating. Gluten and other nasties stay in your system for up to 10 (or more!!!) days causing havoc. You have to purge your body of all those things. Don't allow even one bite of cracker or any dessert or whatever your vice is. I set myself back big time when, in week 2, I ate a crap load of bread because "I couldn't help it". Not only did I get really sick that night, but it stalled my weight-loss for at least a week.
What does "not perfect paleo but wasn't a bad eating day?" If you ate something un-paleo, then yes, it was a bad eating day. Jusssttt sayin! You can do it!!! Keep posting! It is motivating to hear everyone's journeys.
